Daveed Diggs

Daveed Diggs is an American actor, rapper, and singer-songwriter born in 1982. He has made a name for himself in the music industry as the vocalist of the experimental hip hop group Clipping. In addition to his work in music, Diggs has also had a successful career in theater, notably originating the dual roles of Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in the musical Hamilton in 2015.

Diggs' performance in Hamilton earned him numerous accolades, including a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical in 2016. He also won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album in the same year, alongside the main cast of Hamilton. Beyond his work in music and theater, Diggs has also ventured into television, portraying the character Aaron/Oh Father in the superhero series The Boys.
