Guenter Lewy

Guenter Lewy was a German-born American historian and author, born in 1923. He pursued a career in academia, becoming a professor of political science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Lewy's scholarly interests were diverse, and he wrote extensively on various historical topics. One of his most notable works is the 1978 book "America in Vietnam", which examined the United States' involvement in the Vietnam War.
