Henrietta Franklin

Henrietta Franklin was a British suffragist born in 1866, known to her peers as "Netta". Her early life and upbringing instilled in her a strong sense of social responsibility, which would later shape her career as an educationist and activist. As a prominent figure in British society, Franklin was committed to promoting educational reform and women's rights.
Franklin's work was heavily influenced by the ideas of Charlotte Mason, a renowned educator and philosopher. She was a strong advocate for the Parents' National Educational Union, an organization dedicated to improving education and promoting parental involvement. Throughout her life, Franklin remained dedicated to her causes, earning her a CBE for her contributions to education and social activism. She passed away in 1964, leaving behind a legacy as a pioneering suffragist and educationist.
