Isacque Graeber

American historian (1905–1984)

Isacque Graeber was a prominent American historian, sociologist, and writer, whose work spanned multiple disciplines. Born in 1905, Graeber pursued higher education at esteemed institutions, including Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania. His academic background laid the foundation for a prolific career, during which he authored several books and numerous papers on a range of topics, including Jewish-Gentile relations and Jewish education.

Graeber's professional endeavors extended beyond writing to include leadership roles in Jewish educational institutions. He served as the director of the College of Jewish Studies in Kansas City, and later as the Director of Education for the Jewish community in Akron, Ohio. Through these positions, Graeber was able to apply his knowledge and expertise to promote Jewish education and foster greater understanding between Jewish and Gentile communities. He passed away in 1984, leaving behind a legacy of scholarly work and contributions to the field of Jewish history and education.
