Roger L. Simon

Roger L. Simon is a renowned American novelist and screenwriter, born in 1943. His literary career spans multiple genres, with a notable presence in the detective fiction genre through his Moses Wine series. In addition to his eleven novels, Simon has also made significant contributions to the film industry with seven produced screenplays and has authored two non-fiction books.

Beyond his writing pursuits, Simon has held various leadership positions within the literary and film communities. He has served as the president of the West Coast branch of PEN, an organization dedicated to promoting literature and defending freedom of expression. Simon has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Writers Guild of America, and has taught at prestigious institutions such as the American Film Institute and the Sundance Institute. Currently, he holds the position of CEO Emeritus at PJ Media, having previously served as its CEO.
