Wolf Krakowski is a Canadian musician born in 1947 to Polish Jewish parents who survived the Holocaust in Russia. His birth took place at Saalfelden Farmach, an Austrian camp for displaced persons, where his family resided temporarily after World War II. The family's journey eventually led them to Sweden, where they settled in the town of Eskilstuna for a few years.

Krakowski's family relocated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1954, marking the beginning of his life in Canada. As a musician, he has developed a career as a Yiddish-speaking songwriter, singer, and guitarist, reflecting his cultural heritage.
