Noam (political party)

parti politique israélien

Noam is a far-right religious-conservative political party in Israel, founded in July 2019 by a conservative faction within the Religious Zionist community. The party's establishment was influenced by Rabbi Zvi Thau and his Har Hamor yeshiva, reflecting a strict Orthodox Jewish ideology. Noam's primary objectives are centered around promoting policies that counter LGBT rights and perceived threats to traditional family values.

Under the leadership of Avi Maoz, Noam has been actively engaged in Israeli politics. In 2021, Maoz was elected to the Knesset, becoming the party's sole representative in the Israeli parliament. Through his position, Maoz has been able to advance Noam's conservative agenda, focusing on issues related to family and LGBT rights. As the party's leader, Maoz plays a key role in shaping Noam's political stance and promoting its ideals within the Israeli legislative framework.
